Guests to Hydra

After almost a week on board, we decided a break would be good. Not that there were any problems, but just to give new experiences and air to all. 

Kath, Ted and Mike took the fast ferry to Hydra, and shortly after they arrived, Mike ‘took’ kath and Ted up to the monastery. That brother! No breakfast, just a banana, late hot morning. Up 300 meters over the ocean. Good views and beautiful place. Even with a fridge and cool drinks!  I am impressed. 

The next day, Mike and Ted went on a 15 km. Hike. a water taxi dropped them off  at the far end of Hydra, they hiked up to the ridge, and just walked back. Easy! They said. 35 degrees heat. 

Kath was smart and walked out to a beautiful sandy beach and relaxed for the day. 

The hike was over. Ted and Mike had a refreshment here, sitting at Onassis table at a fine resort. 

They admired the views.
